Panel

The panel for the assembly of sectional doors and up-and-over doors Comfort is made of solid wood or double profiled cold-rolled steel sheet, hot-dip galvanized with interposed high-density CFC-free polyurethane foam 40 kg/m3 which gives the panel strength, flatness of the surfaces and an excellent coefficient of thermal transmittance. The surface finish of the pre-painted sheet guarantees excellent protection against atmospheric agents, resistance to UV rays, humidity and exposure to light. This allows the doors to be installed even in places where the environmental and climatic conditions are particularly severe.

Panel components

Built-in longitudinal reinforcement to give greater consistency to the fastening of the hinges and stiffening omegas.

The panels are connected to each other by hinges screwed on the inside.

Metal plate in the anchor points of the screws which gives a better grip.

A gasket placed in the lower part of the panel ensures maximum adherence with the underlying panel, guaranteeing excellent performance in terms of air and water permeability.

The heads of the panels are reinforced and protected by the galvanized and pre-painted white 9010 steel casings on which, inside the panel, the lateral joint hinges are screwed which, together with the intermediate ones directly on the panels, ensure their coupling and rotation .

On the lower edge of the first panel, the EPDM gasket is inserted for sealing the floor with a “U” profile in iron or black pre-painted aluminium.

Another gasket positioned at the top of the last panel guarantees sealing by means of a black iron or aluminum closing “U” profile.

ANTI-PINCH SYSTEM

The particular section of the panel rotation joint totally excludes the risk of accidental pinching of the fingers during the closing of the door according to the EN 12604 standard.

Protective film

The doors are delivered with a transparent adhesive film that protects the panels and preserves the surfaces during manufacturing in the factory and during installation on site. It is important to remove the protective film within 5 days after completing the installation.
